Volunteers

We love our volunteers!

You are why it is great to be in Mashpee.

Getting Started

Want to be a volunteer?  We would love to have you! We believe volunteers are vital to the success of the school and the students they serve. Volunteering for Mashpee Public Schools (MPS) is a great way to experience MPS from the inside and make things better for students and teachers.

We have a wide range of activities and there are countless ways you can lend a hand. For most opportunities, there is no experience necessary and no special skills required.  A willingness to help will qualify you for many jobs, ranging from a one-time event to a weekly commitment. Still unsure how you can contribute? Call me at 508-681-7277, and I’d be happy to help you.

Not sure what to do first? Here’s a guide to help you discover all the ways you can connect.

The Nitty Gritty

1.    First fill out a Volunteer Application  ( not required)so we can get to know you and how you would like to help.  Applications can be submitted online or dropped off at a school or the #WeAreMashpee Pop Up Shop at Mashpee Middle-High School.

2.    Next, all volunteers must have a CORI (Criminal offender record information) on file. Print the CORI Form and visit the superintendent’s office from 8 am-4 pm,  with your picture ID. Once your CORI is cleared you will be cleared to volunteer.

3.   Mashpee volunteers are expected to use discretion and treat all information as confidential.  As a Mashpee Volunteer,  it is your responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of employee or student information, both written and verbal.  Any matter of concern should be taken to the teacher or school principal.

4. To safeguard the health of our school please review and acknowledge
