Mashpee's Council on Aging and the Recreation Department presents: Trick or Treat BOO-Tacular!
On Thursday, October 30th, from 4:00pm-6:00pm, Located at the Mashpee Council on Aging, 26 Frank E. Hicks Dr. Bring the kids for some Halloween fun! Registration not required and candy donations are kindly accepted. Come visit our themed stations which include The Great Pumpkin Patch and the Scarecrow Station.
Mashpee Recreation Eleventh Annual Fill the Van!
Donation pick ups will be on Thursday, November 20th, starting at 10am. Some suggested items to donate consist of: Trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. Drop off Locations for donations are: Mashpee Recreation, Fire Department, DPW, Police Department, Council on Aging, Mashpee Public Schools, Library and the Town Hall.

In September 2026 we will welcome the Mashpee Graduating Class of 2039 into kindergarten. What will the world be like when today’s students graduate? What do our schools need to do now to prepare them? How can we ensure every student experiences a high-quality education? These questions are guiding the district’s comprehensive Strategic Planning initiative. Through this process, Mashpee Public Schools, in partnership with and facilitated by the Teaching and Learning Alliance (TLA), will: ● Engage our community, ● Establish a shared Mission, Vision, and Core Values, ● Develop strategic objectives and action plans, and ● Focus on continuous improvement and renewal. Mashpee Public Schools is seeking volunteers to participate in a Focus Group Session with our TLA Consultants. This is an opportunity to identify our strengths, challenges, and opportunities for our community, our schools, and our students. Your participation is essential to creating a strong, community-driven plan for the future. The quality of our Strategic Plan will be directly related to the quality of feedback and participation in this Focus Group Session.
