Last Friday, we started our ease into MMHS Let it Snow spirit week. Since then, we've had a homeroom gratitude door challenge, a staff potluck, K9 Cara's lost doggie toy challenge, six themed spirit days, and prizes every day. We've had a ton of fun! Our students and staff went above and beyond my expectations of participation and fun, and I'm so proud of our school. The staff's favorite day was dress like a student day. The students' favorite day was definitely PJ day. Mr. Markarian was especially embarrassing, but our staff winners for going "all out" were Mrs. Finn and Mrs. Hough. Our student "all out" winner was grade 7 student Alice C. Congratulations!!! Please know that all of our MMHS staff, including me, will be on vacation starting this afternoon until Thursday, January 2nd, when we return to school. If you reach out to any of us, it is likely you will not hear from us until 1/2/2025. I appreciate you and I'm so grateful to be part of this MMHS community. Happy Holidays, happy vacation, and Happy New Year! |
