Meet MMHS School Nurse: Jennifer Garb-Palumbo:

Jennifer Garb-Palumbo is a registered nurse with over 35 years of experience of which the last 18 years have been in school health services.  Currently, she is the school nurse at  Mashpee Middle and High School and enjoys caring for students in grades 7-12.  She has a master's in health care administration from Simmons College and a BSN from Georgetown University.  Her areas of expertise include vascular surgical, endocrine /diabetes, and cardiac.  Her passion is adolescent heart health and she has served as the Secretary and Board member for the Boston ECG Project since 2018.  The mission and goal of the non-profit organization is to promote adolescent heart health through research and cardiac screening to further the prevention of sudden cardiac arrest in our youth.  When Nurse Jen is not busy at work, she enjoys activities such as tennis, pickleball, bike riding, travel and time with family on the weekends.
