Kelly McVey, BSN, RN, CCM

Kelly McVey is a Registered Nurse with over 32 years of nursing experience.  Currently, she is the District Wide Float School Nurse.  She relocated to Cape Cod in 2021 from Central Massachusetts and has several years of experience in School Nursing.  In addition to that, she has worked in other areas of Nursing which include Orthopedics, Surgical, Telemetry, and Home Health Care, and has been Certified as a Case Manager since 1998.  She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Development (1989) and quickly realized that she wanted to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse.  She attended Worcester City Hospital School of Nursing (1991), and shortly after received a second Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She has vacationed on Cape Cod for over 2 decades and finally made the decision to call the Cape her home.  Interests include traveling and spending time on the beach with her husband and three adult sons as well as our dog (Australian Shepherd) “Maverick”. She is excited to return to the school setting to focus on the health and wellness of students in Mashpee.  She is a member of the Massachusetts School Nurses Organization and the National Association of School Nurses.
