Career Day
Last year we had more professionals come and present to students on Career Day than ever before, and this year we're hoping to increase this even more. Professionals can now come in person and also Zoom with classes, which allows professionals in locations around the world to reach out to students. If you are a professional or know a professional who would be willing to attend and present on career day to our students, please scan the QR below to sign up or click this link.

Seeking Hallway Monitor Volunteers for MCAS
We are seeking volunteer hallway monitors for our upcoming MCAS tests. We could use up to five volunteers per day. The dates are: 4/8, 4/10, 5/6, and 5/8. We also could use a single volunteer for grade 5 science on 5/15 and 5/16. Ideally, the volunteers would be here from 9:30 am to 11:30 am or 12 pm.

ELA MCAS testing begins this week. Here's what to expect: Testing Days: Tuesday, April 8, and Thursday, April 10 Testing Time: 9:30am-11:30am each day As explained previously, we've scheduled a special school culture building day on Wednesday, April 9, between our testing days. This approach is designed to help students maintain their testing stamina and perform their best on both test days. Schedule for MCAS Week: Tuesday, April 8 (MCAS Day 1)
Wednesday, April 9 (Culture Day)
Thursday, April 10 (MCAS Day 2)
Attendance Reminder: It is crucial that all students attend school on testing days unless they are sick and contagious. Please ensure your child gets plenty of rest, eats a good breakfast, and arrives at school on time on testing days. We're looking forward to a successful and positive MCAS week! |

They would have a desk out in the hallway and be an extra set of eyes in the hallway, plus asking students to go into the bathroom one at a time. Bringing a book to read would be totally fine. These volunteers are helpful in making sure that we maintain a quiet and focused testing environment. Interested volunteers can sign up at the link here: https://signup.com/go/mmwHUeQ Thank you! |
