Parent Teacher Conference Reminder
This is a reminder that parent-teacher conferences are being offered this year on the afternoons and evenings of Thursday, October 23, and Tuesday, October 28.
We recognize that in fifth and sixth grade, students have two or three core academic teachers, but we ask that conferences be scheduled only with your child's homeroom teacher. Our staff shares information within teacher teams about all four core content areas, so the homeroom teacher can speak to you about your child's full academic experience.

The Scholastic Book Fair arrives next week and runs October 22nd-29th. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to explore new books and discover their next favorite read!

This is a reminder that parent-teacher conferences are being offered this year on the afternoons and evenings of Thursday, October 23, and Tuesday, October 28. We recognize that in fifth and sixth grade, students have two or three core academic teachers, but we ask that conferences be scheduled only with your child's homeroom teacher. Our staff shares information within teacher teams about all four core content areas, so the homeroom teacher can speak to you about your child's full academic experience. We use this approach to ensure all parents have an opportunity to schedule a conference. If we allowed multiple conferences per student, some families would schedule two or three slots, leaving other families unable to sign up. Conferences with specialist teachers, special education service providers, and counselors are encouraged if these staff work with your child, in addition to meeting with your child's homeroom teacher.
