A graduate of Mashpee Public Schools, attending from kindergarten through 8th grade and Falmouth High School (class of ‘98), Cathy was a member of the Mashpee Youth Commission which was formed in 1996. After attending Providence College and graduating summa cum laude from UMass Dartmouth, earning a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Writing and Communications, Cathy returned to Mashpee to live. She recently earned her Masters of Public Administration from the University of Miami.
After serving on the KC Coombs School Council; the Quashnet School Council; and as a member and secretary of the Quashnet PTO, Cathy was elected to the Mashpee School Committee in 2020 just at the start of the pandemic. She is currently in her second term on the Mashpee School Committee. Cathy is also a member of the Massachusetts Association of School Committees (MASC) Legislative Subcommittee. She also is active with MASC Division VII, which includes Mashpee.
Cathy is the proud parent of Lillian, a Mashpee student. Cathy currently works for the Town of Chatham as the executive assistant to the Town Manager and Select Board. She also volunteers her time as the Mashpee Service Unit Treasurer and as a Mashpee Girl Scout leader for a troop of Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors (grades 5-12).
