Our Mashpee Family is saying goodbye to two very special individuals who are starting their new retirement adventures at the close of school today.  We wish them both a retirement filled with wonderful new experiences, laughter and joy, and especially, good health.  They will be greatly missed!

Mashpee Middle-High School paraprofessional Joanne Arnold is retiring today after an almost 18-year career with Mashpee.  Many may not know that Joanne came to Mashpee as a retired teacher, so this is actually her second retirement. Quashnet School Counselor Sean Withington is retiring today after almost 13 years of dedicated service to our students and their families.  Retiring along with Mr. Withington is his dog Keiki who has helped countless children and adults feel better every single day.

Happy Snow Day Friday,

I hope you have all been able to enjoy today’s snow event.  Nature’s beauty is something that we often don’t take the time to notice and appreciate.  With school being cancelled today, our last day of school year 21-22 will now be Wednesday, June 22, 2022.  Obviously, if we have additional unexpected “no-school” days, this date will be adjusted.

Happy Thursday MPS Community,

Our wish is that all members of our Mashpee community are healthy, safe, and able to spend quality time with family and friends over the next ten days.  Being in the moment and giving fully of yourself is a wonderful gift to give to those you care about the most.  Notice and appreciate all the little things that are in your half-full cup.  Relax and let your worries go.
