Mashpee Public School District

School Committee Overview

The Mashpee School Committee serves as the elected governing body for the Mashpee Public Schools district, representing the town’s community and its educational interests. Members are elected via town election to serve three-year terms. In this role, the Committee is responsible for developing long-term educational goals, establishing district policies, and providing comprehensive oversight of the public schooling system's daily operations.

General Meeting Schedule for Fiscal Year 2027

Mashpee School Committee meetings are held on Thursday's at 5:30 PM in the Quashnet Intermediate School library. Meeting dates and times may vary; please verify the date, time, and location on the specific meeting agenda. Regular meetings are open to the general public. The sessions are normally broadcast live by Mashpee TV on the Education Channel (Channel 22), as well as on their website and community YouTube channel. Executive Sessions are not open to the public.

FY 23 Mashpee Public Schools Budget--recommended by the Town Manager and approved by the voters at the Town Meeting held on 5/2/22: $23,402,261 ($400,000 less than requested).
